1. Switch off the T.V after 8:00 pm.
2. Take 30-40 minutes to check the almanac of your child . Help them in completing their homework.
3. Have a look at all the subjects and especially in which he/she is not doing well.
4. Basic values are very important for their future.
5. Let them make a habit to get up early in the morning and do some exercises. Especially on weekends and holidays.
6. Ask your child/children to do basic chores like watering the plants, making their bed and putting things in their proper place.
7. Tell them a bedtime story and spend some quality time with them.
8. Encourage offline activities — reading, outdoor play, family games.
9. Be firm but kind. Discipline should teach, not punish.
10. Step outside with your kids on the weekends and support them in learning through hands-on experiences.
